So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

Mary L. Wolf, 83, Blue Springs, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2001, at St. MaryÕs Hospital of Blue Springs.
Mrs. Wolf was born April 6, 1918, in Lamoni, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Winsome (Smith) McDonald. During World War II, she served in the South Pacific as an Army nurse and was honorably discharged at the end of the war. Later, she was a supervisor of nursing at the Jackson County Hospital for many years. Following this, she was a school nurse for the Blue Springs School District, and then as supervisor of nursing at Resthaven nursing home in Independence, retiring in the early 1970s. During the 1980s, she was a frequent volunteer at St. MaryÕs Hospital, working in the gift shop. She enjoyed playing Bridge and collecting anything with redbirds on it. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the First United Methodist Church of Blue Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, a younger brother, and in 1997, her husband of nearly 54 years, Max R. Wolf.
Her survivors include a daughter, Sara Field, and a son, Richard Wolf, both of Blue Springs; three granddaughters, Amanda Bradford, Elizabeth Meredith and Megan Wolf; a great-granddaughter, Mara Bradford; and a stepgreat-granddaughter, Marissa Bradford.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Webb-Freer Funeral Home, Blue Springs. Burial will be in Blue Springs Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 tonight at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the church.
